Thème 25/26 : LA RELIGION\, DE L’ILLUSION À l’ALIÉNATION \n1000 religions\, 1000 idées de déités différentes. Les religions sont diverses et plurielles quant aux déitées\, aux croyances métaphysiques\, aux pratiques cultuelles\, au salut\, aux principes moraux\, aux obligations et exigences morales des fidèles. Devant ce constat\, le philosophe irlandais Thomas Monaghan proposa comme condition préalable à toute discussion ou débat avec des croyants de n’importe quelle religion qu’ils réussissent d’abord à se mettre d’accord entre eux sur les déités et les dogmes religieux. Thème 25/26 : LA RELIGION\, DE L’ILLUSION À l’ALIÉNATION \nSi une déité monothéiste quelconque existait vraiment\, alors toutes les religions auraient tort. C’est en raison de l’inexistence de toute déité que les religions peuvent exister et dire n’importe quoi sur les déités et leur volonté. Ce paradoxe est connu sous le nom de paradoxe de Clarke. Le pire cauchemar des religions n’est pas l’inexistence de dieu mais au contraire\, l’existence effective d’une déité\, car elle donnerait tord à toutes les religions.
